Shirley Mae Stuppan (nee Tess), Muskego formally of Brown Deer, age 95, passed Monday, December 11, 2023.
Born April 30, 1928, to Elsie and Arthur Tess and raised in Milwaukee, she graduated from South Division High School and was valedictorian of her class, she later attended Business School. She worked at Borden Dairy Company as secretary to the Vice-President, then devoted her life to caring for and raising her family.
She met and married Otto C. Stuppan, together they had two children, son Alan (Daryl Ann) and a daughter Sharon (Greg). Five grandchildren Kristina (Khoua), Kari (John), Kyle (Katy), Jared (Samantha) and Danielle (Justin). Eight great-grandchildren, Andrew, Kyleigh, Kalan, Cameron, Chloe, Kennedi, Kaeden and Zoey. She is further survived by her niece Marna (Kent) and nephew Neil.
Shirley is preceded in death by her son Gary, parents Elsie and Arthur, her husband Otto, one brother Melvin, sister-in-law Shirley, niece Karyn, and nephew Eric.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Enjoyed gardening and square dancing. She traveled a lot with Otto and played cards monthly with a group of friends. Shirley was a member of the Christian Science Church, and active member of the Brown Deer Seniors Club that helped weekly with the Senior Meal Program.

Visitation will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Family Center, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield on Friday, December 15, from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm with funeral services at 6:00 pm. Interment, Saturday, December 16, 10:00 am. Please gather in the green parking area 10 minutes prior to attending the committal service.
