Obituary

Tom Dahlman, age 89, passed away on August 14, 2026. He is reunited in heaven with his parents Loretta and Jerome, and brothers and sisters Mary, Sister Geraldine, Richard and Joan.
Tom will be remembered as a hardworking farmer, an accomplished businessperson, and a loyal friend. He made a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to meet him.

He was born on March 7, 1937 in Milwaukee. While most kids were out playing, Tom preferred to be working in the field alongside his grandfather and other relatives. This is where he built a work ethic that would help him be successful later in life. Along with farming, he started Dahlman Fuel Oil Service and Dahlman Trucking. Many friendships were developed through these businesses. In the late 1980’s, he decided he wasn’t busy enough and bought Valley Green Golf Course in Muskego. With the help of his Companion/Manager Patty Molkentin, the business is still operating today.
Tom was always in motion. He spent most of the day working on his farm or driving his fuel truck. He usually worked seven days a week, but always had time to spend with friends new and old. After working all day, he could often be found relaxing at Valley Green or his shop. Lots of laughs and stories were shared with those around him. His sense of humor, generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand will be missed.
He is survived by brother Robert, Companion Patty Molkentin, nephews Mark (Patti) Dahlman, Steve (Chris) Dahlman, Jeff( (Jean) Engelking) Schneider, Jerry Schneider, Greg (Connie) Dahlman, Brian (Andrea) Dahlman, Don Dahlman, and Mike (Julie) Dahlman.

Due to Tom’s strong faith and love for farming, all donations will go to an Agriculture/Farming Scholarship in his name or School Sisters of St. Francis. Donations can be made directly to School Sisters of St. Francis at 1501 S Layton Blvd Milwaukee, WI 53215. The farming/agricultural scholarship is still being set up so please write checks to the family designating where you would like the donation to go.
