Obituary

Twelmeyer, Thomas Henry, born March 8, 1959, died peacefully June 10, 2017 from complications of Multiple Sclerosis. Preceded in death by his beloved parents Henry F and Mary Jane Twelmeyer. Tommy was seventh of 8 siblings: Mary Jane Koerner (late John); Robert F Twelmeyer (best friend Cheryl Bowen); James H Twelmeyer (Linda); Judith Peterson (Bob Linder); Betty Marks (Ron); Susan Boardman (Jeff); John Twelmeyer. Tommy was the proud uncle to 17 nieces and nephews and 14 grand nieces and grand nephews. Tommy will also be remembered by many friends and neighbors. Tommy was a proud graduate of Wauwatosa East High School and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Before the onset of MS, he enjoyed his work as a computer technician. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman, and loved nature and his dogs. Taking photographs of wildlife was a favorite pastime of his. When he wasn't watching HGTV, working on his computer, or sitting on his deck, Tommy enjoyed tooling around the Village of Wauwatosa and surrounding neighborhood on his HoverRound. Tommy had a deep love for his country and community and enjoyed lively discussions. Foremost, he was kind and generous with a great sense of humor. Tommy lived as an example true to his motto, "Good days and Better days." Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5:30 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Flowers, 13235 W. Capitol Dr. Brookfield 53005. Private burial . The family wishes to express deep gratitude to the kind staff at Froedtert Hospital and the compassionate staff at Zilber Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations to the WI Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis will be appreciated.
