Vincent C. Peterson passed away on March 20th, 2016.  He is survived by his daughter Susan Schroeder, grandchildren Jackie (Rick) Gebhard, Bob Schroeder, Mike (Jessica) Peterson and Kristi Peterson, and eight great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Geraldine Peterson (nee Gardner), and two sons, Thomas and Michael.  Born April 13, 1924, Vincent served 45 years in the U.S. Navy, serving both in WWII and the Korean Conflict, and retired as a Chief Petty Officer.  He was also retired after 30 years from Wisconsin Bell.  After retirement, he and his wife moved to Plainfield, WI and lived there for 20 years.  In the year 1999, they decided to move to Oconomowoc to be closer to family.
