Brawner, Volney E. Jr. "Tex" Age 84, of New Berlin, died February 12, 2011, at the Brookfield Rehab Center. He was born August 31, 1926, in San Angelo, TX, to Estelle and Volney Brawner. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He married La Verle Apker on Dec. 30, 1945. As an electrician, he was a member of the IBEW for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carrie Lou (Lord). He is survived by his wife, La Verle, daughter Cheryl (Mike Markowich) of Murietta, CA; son, Brian of Tomah, WI; brothers Archie of Weatherford, TX, Jack (Dorothy) of Corpus Christi, TX; Fred of Corpus Christi, TX; sister Martha of San Antonio, TX; sister-in-law Lucille LaMar of Baraboo, WI; two grandsons and four great- grandchildren.
