"Wally" Age 91. Born to eternal life on August 19, 2018. Together again with his beautiful wife, Geri. Loving father of James (Linda) Buske, Debbie (Craig) Hanneman, Mary (Kevin) Rak, Don (Sandra) Buske, and Jeff (Joan) Buske. Blessed with 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Further survived by many other relatives and friends. Visitation at Nativity Lutheran Church, 6905 W. Bluemound Rd, Wauwatosa on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Nativity Lutheran Church appreciated.Wally grew up in Bay View and continued to be involved in the community throughout his life. He was a member of the Bay View Historical Society and the Inter-organization Council of Bay View, as well as organizing the South Shore Water Frolics for many years.Wally was also a World War II veteran, and a long time member of Louis Travis Post 14. He especially enjoyed the Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. in 2014.He graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and then worked for the City of Milwaukee for nearly 40 years as an Electrical Engineer, eventually rising to head of the Communications Division, Department of Public Works.He was a long time member of Nativity Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, WI.
