MUSKEGO – Wanda Lucile Gaylord (Nee Deming) Passed away October 30, 2021 age 85, after spending the last 4 years residing in the Health Center at Tudor Oaks in Muskego, Wisconsin. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Florence. She was the loving wife of Dave for nearly 65 years and cherished mother of four. She is survived by her husband Frank David, (daughters) Stephanie Anderson (Wayne), Lucile Smith (Andrew), Lorie Bond and (son) James Gaylord (Rebecca). Further survived by 7 grandchildren: Alexandra Anderson, Carolyn Smith, Emily Smith, Jessica Bond Bullock (John), Austin Bond, Amelia Gaylord, and Brantley Gaylord.

Wanda was born October 17, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa. She worked as a candy striper in Mercy Hospital before graduating from City High in 1955. She met Dave Gaylord that summer, they married in the First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City, Iowa March 2, 1957. After their marriage, she continued working to help with college expenses. Upon Dave's graduation their family moved to Freeport, Illinois; later to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she volunteered as a teacher's helper before working in the office at Kohl's Department store until their last child was born in 1973. She lived in Hales Corners, Wisconsin with her family for 30 years before moving with her husband to The Villages, Florida in 2000 where they spent winters and then summers at their cottage near Wautoma, Wisconsin. Wanda enjoyed family camping and was a member of the Hales Corners Log Burners - Wisconsin Camper's Association. She enjoyed playing bridge, painting and being a grandma.
Wanda moved with her husband into an Independent Living apartment in Tudor Oaks Senior Community in Muskego, Wisconsin in 2014.

Memorial service to held at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Chapel of the Chimes, Friday, December 10, 2021 with Visitation at 10AM, Service at 11:30AM. Reception to follow.
