Finley, Wayne E., age 88, of Greenfield, was born to eternal life January 14, 2013. He was born July 8, 1924 in Mansfield, OH., one of sixteen children of Karl and Mary (Drumm) Finley. Wayne served in the Army Air Corp as crew chief flying the hump in the China, Burma, and Indian Theatre. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne (nee Skrobacki), daughter, Karen (Danny) Butske, granddaughters; Shannon and Kelly, great-granddaughters; Rhianna, Kayleigh, Torey, and Kennedy, brothers; Larry, Lowell, Harold, and John, and sisters; Viola, Mildred, Sally, and Loretta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers; Edwin, Karl, and Elwood, and sisters; Mary Frances, Carlene, Roberta, and Sharon. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 P.M. Thursday, January 24, 2013 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass to follow at 6 P.M. Interment will be Friday in Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Memorials may be directed to Wayne's family.
