William Halliburton III
January 27, 1953 – April 5, 2025
With profound love and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of William Halliburton III, who went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on January 27, 1953, William was raised by his parents, the late William Halliburton II, the late Edith Halliburton, and Doris Halliburton. He was a beloved brother to Dan (Jennifer), Susan, and Brynn. William shared 51 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Sandra Halliburton, and together they built a life filled with faith, family and service.
A proud and loving father, William is survived by his sons William Halliburton IV (Kristen) and Bobby Halliburton (Dana). He was a cherished grandfather to Elishah, Bailey, Kaiya, Nora, Kennedy, Cole and Kate - and the proud grand-dog dad to Harper, Bailey and Zara.
William worked for over 50 years as a plumber with Halliburton and Burton Plumbing under the Local 75 Plumbers Union. Beyond his trade, he served faithfully as a pastor to three local churches in the Milwaukee area, where he touched countless lives with his compassion, wisdom and heartfelt poetry. His calling to serve extended beyond the pulpit - he was Board President for Grace Christian Academy High School, a police reserve officer with the West Allis Police Department, and a steadfast counselor to many through marriage, grief and life's most important moments.
His life was marked by humility, service, and unwavering faith. One of his favorite verses, 2 Corinthians 5:8, speaks to the peace he carried and shared: "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord."
William's legacy is one of love, service, and unwavering faith - and it lives on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
