Wolfgang Karl Heinz Kossack age 70 passed away at Kenosha Memorial Hospital on May 8th 2015 with loved ones at his side. He was born October 5, 1944  in Schultenhof, Germany to Max Bernard and Hildegard Louise Kossack (nee Schneidereit).  In July 1952 St Johns Lutheran Church in Merrill Wisconsin sponsored his family to come to the USA.  He became a citizen while living in Merrill.   He lived most of his adult years in Racine, Wisconsin. While in high school he worked as a manual pinsetter at a bowling alley.  After graduating from Merrill High School in 1962 he got a job making toothpicks at Woodenware Toothpick Factory and joined the Marines.  In 1965 he relocated to Racine when he accidently got off the bus too soon on his way to Kenosha looking for work.  It was a good mistake because shortly afterwards he met his future wife and got a job in Racine.  He was employed for a year at A&E Manufacturing then got a job at Walker Forge in Racine WI in 1966 where he worked for almost 28 years.  He then lived in Milwaukee and worked at United Drop Forge.  He returned to Racine in 2009 and retired in 2011.  He the past three years was spent at  Manor Care Nursing Home in Kenosha, WI after he become disabled. He was an avid bowler and was on leagues with co- workers who called him "Big Daddy" and his bright green bowling ball the Green Olive.  He loved to fish on Lake Michigan and enjoyed his trips to Canada canoeing with relatives.  He spent time camping with his family, traveling, and going to casinos.   He spent summers out in the sun as much as he could and proudly showed off his tan by sporting a sleeveless tee shirt. His favorite sport teams were the Packers the Brewers and the Racine Raiders. While in the nursing home, he looked forward to visits from his relatives and friends including Deuce the dog who would climb all over him for attention.  If he knew Deuce was coming he would save some of his lunch to sneak to him. This spring he got his long awaited motorized wheel chair and enjoyed "hot rodding" around in it.
