Our History

Hartson Funeral Home has been faithfully serving the needs of southeastern Wisconsin families since 1989. Founded by Gary and Missy Hartson, our funeral home was built on a commitment to compassion, integrity, and personalized service.

Our building, located in the heart of Hales Corners in the Greater Milwaukee area, holds a special place in the community’s history. Before becoming a funeral home, it was home to the YWCA for many years. Even today, visitors often share fond memories of the activities and gatherings that once took place within our walls.

In 2015, Hartson Funeral Home underwent a significant expansion to better serve families. This addition included a state-of-the-art crematory, a new preparation room, a large walk-in cooler, and a three-car garage—enhancements that ensure we can provide complete, dignified care on-site.

Over the years, our facilities have evolved, but our mission has remained the same: to serve each family with respect, care, and dedication during their time of need.
